Pros

Smart and friendly people. Good client opportunities. Decent work-life balance, at times.

Cons

This place changed for the worse over the last few years. They have an excellent new US president. But they have ZERO loyalty to tenured employees. So watch your back. You MUST be client relevant and billable if you’re in the consulting workforce or your days are numbered. If you volunteer or are asked to perform an internal role, get out of it as soon as you can because they don’t care to see you develop or grow in the role and you’ll have a huge target on your back. I was there for a long time, since the beginning of the company. Trust me, they don’t care unless you’re billing a customer, regardless of your tenure. It’s incredibly disappointing and not at all what I’d expect from the company. The senior leadership is also being taken over by ex-IBMers who have a reputation as being difficult to work with and work for. Took a long time to get senior female leaders.

Pros

Project team, flexibility in traveling and opportunities to work with some great clients. I’ve built some valuable skills and confidence due to my project work.

Cons

The company had somewhat succeeded in killing my morale. I have been passed over for promos on really silly technicality or baseless reasons. In my time here, all clients and PMs have went out their way to give and sent excellent reviews on my behalf but I have realized all of that do not matter. I appreciate the opportunity here and wish they would encourage people who go above and beyond for clients and promote on merit to encourage people. I have come to the conclusion that promotions are just based on time and if you have the patience they will eventually hand you one even if underserving.
