Be sure to align with Microsoft based projects vs Accenture projects when you can. Avanade is, for the most part, the tech bench for Accenture and Accenture projects that need resources are weak project teams with terrible leaders. The others move from project to project in packs. Accenture will also lie to achieve a goal and Avanade HR will not help you. In terms of HR, Avanade HR should acquaint themselves with the "Human" concept of human resources as they seem to truly dislike people. There are some very dishonest people up and down the chain here and you must be able to navigate it successfully. I'm leaving in the next 3 weeks because of it. It's hard to invest in your career here with such poor leadership and terrible HR. For younger folks, it's a good place to start and stay < 2yrs until you can find something better. Taka dvantage of the certifications and training when you can even though the majority of projects you'll be on will be AWS vs Azure.

If you are not complaining, threatening to leave or chummy with decision makers, your chances of getting promoted are nearly non-existent.
