      Pros

      Avanade is a great company. Period. Pay is competitive. Work life balance is achievable. Access to tools and resources to do your job is unlimited. I loved the people I work with.

      Cons

      The company has had lots of lay offs and restructuring including new C Suite execs and the company future is unknown. A lot of each roles is undefined and a lot of responsibility for finding new projects is on you. IT creates a lot of stress. Moving around in the company is not easy.

      Pros

      - Flexible working options - People are friendly - Great benefits

      Cons

      - Low salary, which I didn't mind until... - ...Hardly any opportunities for payrise/promotion - What used to be a employee-centric company has very quickly become a toxic working environment - The leaders have NO idea what they are doing - we have a new strategy every five minutes - The amount of redundancies that have happened recently is stomach turning. And the way they have treated those employees has been very sad to watch

      Pros

      As with any consulting company, I benefited from working on a variety of projects with clients in different industries.

      Cons

      A consistent pattern for at least 2 years of CEO, North America general manager, and practice leads boasting about company performance and then denying bonuses, raises, and promotions while laying-off employees. North America GM regularly saying incredibly naive and ignorant things in townhalls, such as "I'm really excited because I just hired some AI-first engineer college graduates!" concurrently with the above gaslighting. Also, now pivoting to selling Agentic AI to mid-sized companies even though 2 years into the AI hype cycle there STILL IS NO ROI.
