Pros

Easy work. Some colorful people. Lots of fires to put out.

Cons

Everyone of talent leaves for the same two reasons. Others communicated these reasons for leaving to me in confidence, so providing those here would mean betrayal. Many on the team were untrustworthy, and would often misrepresent work/situations for their benefit. That's expected to some degree in a large group, but Avatar is very small. Competence is not a mainstay. Every single one of the higher-ups/company veterans is related by family.

Good co-workers: friendly, helpful and hard-working Small outfit; low level of supervision Great location for getting lunch Nice view of the ocean if you could get an office, not a tiny cube

Cons

Impossible schedules because staffing is too small Promises not delivered "Do anything to get the contract" but then do nothing to fulfill it Don't expect loyalty from above, just complaints
