Aveda follows its mission statement. This is a company and president that truly care for its employees. It is a pleasure to work with such a supportive and thoughtful brand. Healthcare benefits are excellent. Pay is decent, considering it's a retail job. Tuition reimbursement available for management.

Cons

Work-life balance can be difficult in the experience centers. I think this is due more to the nature of retail than anything else. It can be difficult to move up in the company. Employees, for the most part, are ridiculously overqualified for their positions. There's a lot of heart in this company & employees tend to stick around. Finishing my BA this summer, I fear I might have to leave for more competitive pay and personal growth.
