Pros
As someone who works at PICS, and thoroughly enjoys working here, I think it is important to address some of these reviews I see slandering the company. Yes, there have been changes and there have been layoffs.
Some of these reviews state that the company only cares about the bottom line,. This is simply not true. The culture continues to have a strong focus on family and maintaining a good work/life balance. The company invests in its employees through education and creating an environment that is simply fun to work in.
Other reviews state that the company fired many of the brightest and talented individuals. I understand that this is my opinion, but many of these moves have actually improved the company morale and performance. There were many great people that were let go, but they simply were not performing.
PICS is a great place to work. The company allows its employees to have ownership in their work and achieve great things. The office location recently consolidate, which has led to an improvement in the overall culture. The location itself also went through a small renovation allowing for a more modern and collaborative environment.
Cons
Benefits could be improved. The 401k program is still lacking in the funds that can be selected.
Communication could be improved from department to department.
