It's been a rough two years for employees - treat us with some respect. In 2020 we didn't receive a standard 3% pay increase, we also had to take a furlough (about a 5% pay cut). In 2021 we received a small pay increase (1-2%) citing market conditions. Late 2020-current we've had record quarters. Our numbers are way up, but no plans to compensate employees. Company has embraced WFH the past two years, but has suddenly reversed course and is asking us to take a hybrid approach starting beginning of December, most teams will be expected to be in the office 2-3 days a week. The decision for return to office according to management was that we are missing out on culture and hallway conversations (not sure what culture they are talking about, there was never really any pre-pandemic). The CEO has stated that our industry has been back in the office for months (not really the case) and we need to catch up. They keep preaching "we are going back to normal" without realizing that "normal" has changed quite significantly since March 2020. During company-wide meetings, concerns have been brought up regarding COVID-19, the lack of required vaccinations, and a non-enforced mask policy. HR doesn't seem to care anymore and said "there is never a good time to bring people back, so we'd thought we would start now". Really seems like they are regressing a bit. I was really hoping they would embrace remote work (especially considering we did it for nearly 2 years and our companies numbers went way up). As far as the "boy's club" is concerned, those reviews are 100% correct. Upper management is practically all men and are all close friends - lot's of inside jokes and it seems that if you're not "in" with that group, you won't be promoted.
