Pros

Still a lot of loyal, kind employees who desperately want to see the company win again. Smart acquisitions but still struggling with integration for synergies

Cons

Passive-aggressive culture, lead execs aren’t committed to Avnet for long term, low morale; CEO values compliance over feedback. I’m not a millennial but can’t imagine any that would be happy here long term

Pros

Some positions offer work from home 2 days a week. It use to be a great company to work for but now, not so much.

Cons

So so so many.... ERP system crippling employees Nights Weekends Unrealistic goals Culture Executive management Very, very high stress job with little/no appreciation

Pros

Work/life balance is encouraged. Able to work a 40 hour week and shut down on evenings and weekends.

Cons

Upper management seems to be flying blind. The company is in a perpetual state of "things will get better". I have been with the company for close to two years now and the communication has been the same - "we are working on solving the internal issues and we believe Avnet is on the right path" .. All the while those on the front lines are suffering greatly with little to no relief.
