      Pros

      Avoca is a nice place to work, co workers and management are friendly. Overall a relaxed environment. Free coffee and food.

      Cons

      Standard retail cons. Occasional rude customer, long days at Christmas, weekend work. Nothing too bad

      The work itself day to day is enjoyable.

      Cons

      Originally, staff were allowed to take home food that was going to be thrown into the bin. During my last few months, a policy was brought in that staff had to pay €2 to take home food that would otherwise be THROWN IN A BIN. Getting staff to pay for food while reducing their cost of bins? Aramark at its finest. Almost no room for growth.

      Nice staff, good staff discount, nice work environment, free sandwich and coffee for lunch

      Cons

      Some customers can be very obnoxious and self righteous. Hourly rate does not coincide with Irelands living wage.
