Great Company Vision, Trending in the Right Direction
Pros
Senior leadership has employees' best interest in mind as they work to fix previous management mistakes. That has required some tough decisions but the trend is heading in the right direction. We are tightening up on wasteful spending, fixing broken processes, and otherwise making the company run more efficiently and effectively, which will ultimately benefit all employees. The company has innovative products that are beginning to take market share from competitors.
Cons
As with many small companies, Axcient struggles to find the resources to scale up. That also means there isn't much redundancy for a lot of different roles within the company. Often people are overworked and overextended. Ultimately, that makes Axcient a good place to work if you're an ambitious self-starter. Not a great place to work if you want to collect a paycheck and blend into the background.
