Good product, horrible management

Pros

Good product; decent pay; flexible schedule; smart people working there (mostly)

Cons

tenured staff has tendency to talk down to newer staff; new management came in earlier this year and laid off a bunch of good people for false reasons; overall morale is low and people are scared for their jobs (not a good thing!!). New managements goal is to make the company attractive so it can be bought - which also leads to people wondering about their jobs for the future. If bought, new management team will leave (that's what they do) and a newer mgmt team will come in. very unstable.

Pros

Axeda is operating in a very exciting field dealing with the connection of smart devices to generate new business value. They are the oldest company in this field and have a significant leadership position

Cons

Axeda is not moving forward. The management lacks vision and the underlying finances of the company are shaky at best.

Pros

- Friendly coworkers. - Reasonable compensation when you're new to the company. - Reasonable benefits. - A strong company with a good vision of where they are and where they want to go as a company. - Very flexible with taking time off and/or telecommuting where necessary. - The CEO is incredibly friendly and will know your name. He truly cares about his employees and tries to connect with them.

Cons

- Like most tech employers, to get a good raise or promotion you'll likely need to leave the company. - Not easily accessible to public transportation.
