      - Smart people - Fast-moving - Average pay

      Cons

      - Frequent, silent layoffs - Unclear metrics - Not much investment in Strategy and Product role -- seems like the Operations team wants to run the show - No Chief product officer - Top down decision-making - Frequent shifting priorities - Very subjective with the hiring process - Not at all product-led -- product managers seemed to be in very very difficult situations where they must own the rollout of decisions without much input

      Remote work offers flexibility, smart colleagues, quality journalism

      Cons

      Axios' culture used to be its superpower. Now, you'll face internal politics, lack of transparency, and a sense of being fed the same stock answers whenever employees raise concerns. At the same time, the company is investing in so many different places that the overall mission feels diluted.

      It is extremely sad to see how far this place is come. But I will say that this place is some of the best and most hard-working people, the benefits are pretty good, and Axios itself has a great name. But the culture itself has definitely taken a dip

      Cons

      Poor people and management decisions after cox deal. Complete change in culture. No more transparency. Pretend to care about people but that has greatly changed
