Pros

Axis Communications is a really friendly, collaborative company with great opportunities for international travel. Unlike many companies in the surveillance industry, there's no inherent chauvinism and the company has a modern outlook. Plenty of opportunity to grow, the company encourages internal promotion and development.

Cons

Salaries are not great and working outside HQ can see you lose some of the great company benefits.

For people who start out as engineers it is a good place to get your first working experience. Very nice main buildning. Ok benifits,

I had been working at Axis for over ten years. Axis was famous for not letting people go. I thought it was a good company. Now Canon owns it and time ar tough. Almost all of our team of lojal employees got laid of on the day. We had to leave without saying goodbye to our colleges of over ten years. It was not handeled ringht in any way. Not professional. A reputation for paying low saleries.

Atmosphere and company culture are amazing! I don’t ever get to a Sunday night and dread going to work, the people are what makes Axis a great place to work. We have team collaboration and the open door policy is not just words it’s a real thing, the management team welcome feedback and actively try and make your ideas a reality.

Cons

Salary should be improved upon in certain functions.
