      Pros

      Axon's product line is so diverse that it's hard to not find something you're interested in working on. Leadership is clear in its communication and has a passion for thinking outside the box. You can see the impact you make every day in our customers feedback and you really feel like your work matters. There's also strong growth potential throughout the entire company and I appreciate the candor and feedback provided by direct managers and peers.

      Cons

      While Axon is 30 years old, it still acts like a startup. There is some lack of process for the sake of being nimble. That can often mean a little bit more problem solving than you might find elsewhere. It's not a huge issue, but you need to be creative and quick on your feet from time to time.

      Great Company for the Entrepreneurial Spirited

      Pros

      Axon is an amazing company for those looking to make a positive impact on the world. Employees work hard for a common goal creating a positive culture with high energy and drive to execute goals. There are opportunities to develop workflows and an eagerness to listen to business impacting ideas by upper level management. Axon also provides great benefits and promotes a healthy work life balance with openness to team expansion, if needed. Learning opportunities are offered regularly during work hours. With 2x yearly reviews, it is easy to get candid feedback on performance and growth opportunities.

      Cons

      Lack of streamlined processes can make daily tasks between teams frustrating. On the upside, teams are open and excited to adopt new processes if someone is to take the lead on developing. Salary ranges listed for open positions are not accurate and the company puts a cap on internal promotion salary increases vs hiring an outside candidate.
