      Poor management and leadership

      Pros

      Line employees were amazing to work with.

      Cons

      Management has favourites. Night shift supervisor will lie when feeling threatened by another person's abilities. HR isn't always willing to speak to employees. Supervisors and managers pretend to care as long as it makes them look good. Supervisors lie on official documentation. Proper investigations done on the night shift consist of he said/ she said testimonies. No such thing as a verbal or written warning, they consider "is everything alright?" as an acceptable "verbal warning".

      Sexy on the outside, awful on the inside

      Pros

      Lots of free t shirts and company funded trips, but throwing money at a poorly run company won't fix it. Axon really get you onboard by looking very sexy on the outside and giving you lots of free stuff to get you to join. There are some smart people and some colleagues can be good. They ask employees to leave positive glassdoor reviews while they work there.

      Cons

      Overall really poor management and would be a lot of favouritism and just throwing money at any problem. Seeing people get unfairly fired all the time is horrible and the company is run on blame culture. -people were unfairly fired all the time -awful management and senior leadership don't know what they are doing -company has 'boys club' culture -no clear oversight of what you compared to your other counterparts are earning -no defined career progression

      A Company Driven By Its Mission

      Pros

      There isn't one person who isn't passionate about the work the company is doing. Whenever there might be a slow or grueling day/project, you quickly become reminded of the importance of your work. Leadership cares about the employees, and ensures a healthy/fun environment. Values are well defined and drive the culture.

      Cons

      While it is good at times that Axon still has a "start-up" feel, the lack of processes can create breakdown across teams and cause frustration, errors, and bad practices. (The good news is people recognize this and are always improving!)
