Pros
Company Mission, Values, and Culture; embodied in action and truly a part of every day engagement and dialogue at Axon.
The People; I work alongside and partner with some of the brightest, authentic, and engaging professionals. The PeopleOperations Team is fantastic and I appreciate that managers are open to leaning-in as partners and advisers.
It is welcomed at Axon to exercise inquisition; it's OK to ask questions to seek to understand and to learn the most about the company, a team, a process, etc. and how to insert innovation and/or process improvements.
Commitment to enhancing diversity and inclusion; this meant a lot to me when choosing a company. As a woman, a veteran spouse, having a brother with a disability, and with LGBTQ+ family and friends; finding a professional environment that had a call to action to enhance diversity and inclusion was paramount to me. While there is still opportunity, I appreciate the movement being made and that Axon does not just 'talk the talk,' but 'walks the walk.'
Best Decision I ever made; I have never been this happy personally and professionally.
Work Life Harmony & Happiness!!
I see the value I bring to the organization (small and large) and am incredibly optimistic about my future and the future of the company.
Cons
Like any organization with rapid growth, striking a balance between Acting Now & Due Diligence. It's an invigorating, fast-paced culture with opportunity to embrace proactivity and reactivity with more harmony. I do trust actions are moving in the right direction.
