      Pros

      I can't speak for all departments, but the one I work in is fantastic. Compensation highly competitive. Talent and hard work are recognized and rewarded. Excellent health insurance and other benefits are solid. Company-wide, diversity and inclusion are very important and it's not just talk. There is a lot of opportunity for development and face time with execs. While we have busy times, we have a lot of flexibility and autonomy and I never feel micro managed. Huge growth in the last few years and management has a plan for future growth.

      Cons

      Long hours at times, but generally manageable. Not a fan of the forced distribution rankings rolled out last year.

      Amazing Company, Culture, Values, & Opportunity!

      Pros

      --Solving some of the biggest issues facing the world. Our mission is to protect life and make the bullet obsolete- how freaking cool is that?! --Fast-paced environment with a ton of room for opportunity. There are countless stories of individuals within Axon elevating quickly- whether that be in the divisions they joined within or in a completely different area. Fast growth means limitless potential here! --Our values are real and lived out here. Every single day, in every single org within the business. --Genuine, sharp, passionate, and fun coworkers. We are solving big issues, and everyone here seems to understand that in order to do that we have to work together as a whole versus in silos. There is a strong sense of teamwork (join forces!) and little to no ego. --Incredible and inspiring leadership. They are transparent, thoughtful, and show time and time again that they deeply care about their employees, customers, and the world. --While the company is growing and there's certainly a lot of work to be done, there is also a heavy emphasis on work/life balance and ensuring employees have the opportunity to truly decompress and enjoy their personal lives. --Competitive compensation packages and benefits/perks offering. The icing on the cake!

      Cons

      --These environments are never for everyone. The work can be hard, the growing pains can be...well...painful, and you have to be able to operate in fluctuating levels of ambiguity. --Sometimes the space we are in is polarizing. I generally find this is especially the case with individuals/groups that only look at one layer of our business from a high-level without really understanding what we are doing and the why behind it (again, reference our mission, it's real and it's powerful).

      We are grateful for your review! We are also very excited about solving some of the biggest issues of our time and find that our passion unites our employees. We do have growing pains at time, however, we believe that we have wise leadership and managers are working hard to equip our teams with the proper tools to get the job done. Thanks for your honesty!
