Fantastic team and culture snuffed out
Pros
The GitKraken team circa 2015 - early 2017. This was a really fantastic group of people to work with, one of the best teams I've ever been on. A lot of the surrounding teams were also great, we collaborated really well with marketing and all felt like part of the same team. I was happy to write blog posts they could use for marketing and that also delivered some real value to the developer community. They got it.
Cons
I said the same thing a few weeks after starting up until the day I decided to move on. I like everything about this company except the management. This statement would probably not hold true anymore as the wonderful team I was a part of has since largely left as well. No one likes to be micromanaged, doubted, and second guessed regularly, so it's not surprising that even junior devs are moving on.
