Pros

* Working from home (one of the only good things and very much needed for mental health) * My direct manager was amazing. He understood the issues, attempted to make changes when and where he could, but senior management was very obtuse and often just did not seem to care about employees.

Cons

* Less than stellar management, no planning, poor project management * Abusive management with a "now" mentality, especially management in Indianapolis. Their failure to plan becomes everyone else's problem. This was not a once here and there kind of thing. It was daily. They also have no compunction about lying. Repeatedly, and then wonder why someone does not trust them. * Awful C-level personalities - like caricatures of failed humans * Directors who duck out when large infrastructure changes are being made and failing to support their teams * Turnover rates that are like a revolving door. Good people leave because of bad management. Many that could have been great, but the company doesn't want great, they want "yes people." C-level management can't have stars that shine as bright as they do (that's called sarcasm). * HR is clueless. The onboarding process there was overly complicated and seldom was successful in it's entirety. We had an amazing Director in HR and she was there than a year before she found work elsewhere. * Clueless and no connection with the people who make the company work. Townhall Meetings and All Hands Meetings were just talking heads getting to talk at people for an hour or so. * They don't like training because it costs money. Know what else costs money? People who aren't trained and then break something or cause a freezer to thaw. That all costs money. They don't care.

Pros

None, very deceptive executive management. Promises the world. Does not deliver.

Cons

Constant reorganizations ( every 6 to 9 months) especially at the sr level. Me too products.

Pros

Stock purchase program, WFH/Hybrid opportunities for some. Some good teammates that support each other despite toxic and deceptive senior leadership.

Cons

Management has no leadership skills in many departments. Silos intentionally built to disrupt clear lines of communication across functional groups. SMEs are not utilized properly, many single points of failure. Field based groups are in shambles. Finger pointing and assigning blame is a standard practice in the sales/service organizations. Good field and support people are stifled by inept management. Work/Life balance is preached but not practiced. 40 hour work week is a myth here.
