      Great place to work!

      Pros

      Azul is a great place if you are technically strong and want to work on interesting things. Over the last several years, the company has transitioned to pure software products and the strategy appears to be working. Management seems to be making the right decisions on bringing in new leadership as needed, and does not allow poor performers to stick around. Company culture is fun and supportive, and you can achieve healthy work/life balance here.

      Cons

      Company has been around for some time now (since 2002) and there is some legacy still left of the hardware business which probably is not ideal compared to a new software startup company.

      Pros

      Great technology. Amazing people to work with (and to work for). Lot of freedom to get the work done right.

      Cons

      While I was there, the hardware team was laid off upon completion of the project; the sales teams were constantly being laid off; and there were constant discussions of layoffs, bankruptcy, etc.
