      Interesting work, negative culture

      Pros

      As an engineer, the nature of the work and the problems that we face is incredibly interesting. We’re on the cutting edge of defense technology and no two days are the same. There is also a really good agile working policy, meaning that my work-life balance is pretty positive.

      Cons

      The culture that is fostered here is pretty negative. The company are in a tough financial position with strong competition from new competitors. Instead of focussing on increasing productivity, the employees suffer - reduced / no pay rises, employees doing senior roles and not being rewarded for it / negative performance reviews that seem to be independent of the effort employees put in / redundancies.
