      A Line Manager and Leadership Team that Walks the Talk

      Pros

      The APAC Pre-sales team are awesome to work with. A great team of really smart people with diverse and interesting backgrounds all coming together to add real value in their own way.

      Cons

      Tough to get consistent clarity and deliver to customers what they need. Short staffed in Services and Delivery and sometimes a Sales Force that lives to divide and conquer in order to hurry up and wait. Its not efficient and causes rifts. The Melbourne Office is OLD, DRAB, TIRED, DIRTY and completely at odds with an environment that you want to get up to every day. It really is sad and in my onion embarrassing to bring clients in to the foyer. NEEDS ATTENTION

      Pros

      Interesting work with a varied set of clients. Career & personal development isn't confined to industry groups (unlike a Big 4 environment) . There's also a better identity of who BAE SYSTEMS Applied Intelligence is, compared to 5 years ago.

      Cons

      Seems to be driven by Operations and some of the internal processes appear cumbersome and a burden - could be sleeker in this respect.

      Pros

      A hit the floor running entry to AI but helped by the open and welcoming culture and support from everyone. A genuinely exciting time as I was brought in to build a new transactional team in Leeds. AI is a refreshingly down to earth company where even the CEO and CFO sit in the open plan . Every person's opinion counts and is valued, all staff are encouraged to share their opinions.

      Cons

      I was impressed with IT on being given a laptop, user ID and passwords on day 1, but it can be confusing to finding your way around logging IT tickets correctly, even when the local IT guys are at hand to help.
