      Pros

      The company has a global reach into tons of big clients. The opportunities to learn about the industry are big! In my office, hours are flexible, and folks are bright and pay is competitive. The software does a lot, and has potential.

      Cons

      Personal Development isn't supported Hardware is over 5 years old Hard to move up. Software Development seems somewhat shortsighted, often incurring more software debt, rather than investing to fix recognized flaws that would make the code base more extensible. probably this organization should invest in more talent to handle the work-load, but that doesn't happen.

      Pros

      Norkom is a growing company with development opportunities and interesting technical challenges. Norkom has good work from home policy and now merging with Detica to become a bigger company.

      Cons

      Norkom does not have the advantages of scale that larger companies get. This impacts compensation and sometimes leads the company to be shorter sighted in building out their product.
