Digital Intelligence has lost its way
Pros
DI has a heritage, from Detica, of working with public sector to deliver some really interesting and important projects. The pay and the work life balance have been good and the people in delivery roles (consulting, engineering, and delivery mgmt) are fantastic.
Cons
Leaders have been drafted in from BAES Group and don't understand how to run a professional services business. There's always been an ambition to bring DI into BAES Group and into 2024 they went overdrive. The result has been the erosion of salaries and benefits, lack of investment into the services business, and morale is at an all time low. If anyone is reading this wondering why they should work for DI here's a quote from the MD from the most recent all hands call in response to that very question: 'You have to work that out for yourself'.
