      Decent stepping stone. No long term growth.

      Pros

      There is a lot to learn. Stepping stone for possibly going elsewhere.

      Cons

      They only train you on what you need to know for the job. They don't promote internal or external growth. They don't pay market average nor attempt to remain competitive. We worked severely understaffed for over a year until they ultimately closed the office. No transparency with management and employees. Constantly expecting more and assigning additional work without extra compensation. Extremely demotivating to work for this company. All intelligence went elsewhere and left the team full of warm bodies to fill seats. Unless you're unemployed, look elsewhere.

      Pros

      The flexibility policy is fantastic and people are encouraged to work as it works for them as long as it's done safely and without impeding contract deliverables. There are some great people who work there who make working pleasurable. Salary yearly are welcomed and international profit scheme is nice.

      Cons

      Unfortunately sometimes if you work hard you are not rewarded or recognised... in some teams. This is not prioritised. People who are incompetent they are generally promoted and those who are proficient left to keep things moving. The professional development review process is clunky and outdated.

      Pros

      There is no micromanagement, only because management is so out of touch with their employees and processes. Work-life balance is fine.

      Cons

      Bad work environment. Management seems more like a 'good ole boys' club instead of actual qualified managers. Many managers are control freaks and step in and prevent strong employees from truly prospering. I've personally seen management seclude employees or other managers who weren't fulfilling their agendas. The resistance to change and advancements is mind-boggling. They are still relying on software systems that were developed in the 80s and 90s. It is really just a backwards organization that seems to only bandage problems, rather than truly fix them. If you ask managers why we do this or why we do that 9/10 times the answer is something along the lines of "I don't know, ask....."
