      A Teflon Mountain of bureaucracy ,

      None , soul sucking frustration at delivering code with process typically taking orders of magnitude longer than developing the code

      Cons

      Vastly too much Bureaucracy , Unfeeling Management , Asked to perform tasks without training , huge expectations of staff with almost no support .

      Pros

      The vast majority of people who work (ie not managers) are great, the environment is laid back, the hardware is good. The support teams are fantastic.

      Cons

      Tech stacks are somewhat dated, managers like to treat employees like mushrooms. It is very bureaucratised, and not too forward-looking.

      Pros

      Working with an interesting domain and complex problems. Good colleagues (at least the ones who are left in the company).

      Cons

      Complete lack of focus from management. Frequent re-organisations. Too much reactiveness and too little proactiveness. No room for innovation. Way too much time is wasted on politics rather than providing value to the customers. No freedom to move. Everything is controlled with an iron grip by the top management only, and they are obviously completely detached from what is actually going on.
