      - Good starting salary - Great benefits, especially medical and dental - Great technology to work on when it actually makes it through the management filter

      Cons

      Management is driven by ego, self-preservation, and self-promotion....from the "lowest" manager to the top. Everything else follows from this...mistreatment of employees, unwillingness to work together, atmosphere of fear, etc.

      Pros

      The Engineering Leadership Development program provides great exposure to leadership opportunities in a benign environment through internal projects linked to bigger external programs. Provides true opportunities for learning to lead projects, teams, etc. Several opportunities are provided to work with multi-discipline teams and 3-4 required department rotations between systems engineering, hardware engineering, SW engineering, and others.

      Cons

      After completing the ELDP program, immediate leadership opportunities are not always available for all participants thus causing employees to remain stagnant in roles. Masters credits with local university in New York for completion of the ELDP program (9 credit hours) are not transferrable and employees can only apply those to Engineering degrees rather than other degrees such as an MBA.
