      With a little work, this could be the best employer in the industry. Great for entry-level, then it fades.

      Pros

      The company provides good opportunities for entry-level employees (recent college grads), and really invests in developing those employees. They are also very laid back and create an enjoyable working environment and culture.

      Cons

      Once you have been with the company for about 5 years, the opportunities for career developments and advancement really drop off. This makes it very difficult to plan your career future within the company. Some of the locations are also not so great.

      Pros

      Work/Life Balance is great. If you need to have a special schedule or time off this company is great. Great company to start a career at. Upper management at director level and above is very open to new ideas and programs. Company is supportive of employees continuing education with graduate work.

      Cons

      Career development is non-existent by management. Ability to transfer to another departments is also non existent. Middle management is more of an hinderance than a help. Pay scale is typical of any defense company. Promotions might take a while depending on department and manager. Work is not challenging. Company is not supportive of lateral career moves.

      Pros

      In this day and age, not many companies offer such a complete benefits package such as medical, dental, vision, 401k, and performance share.

      Cons

      Lack of organized product development structure in the new line of business. Lack of fairness in the recognition of key contributors. Lack of knowledge of industry and industry processes in the new line of business. Incompetent program management.
