      Pros

      Being owned by an actual aerospace company instead of an aluminum can manufacturer allows for better global supply chain support, better government relations support, and more opportunities with the rest of BAE Systems. BAE continues to support the Ball Aero pension plan for those hired before the end of 2021. Health care premiums are lower after the purchase of Ball

      Cons

      Ex-Ball employees did lose some benefits through the purchase. We no longer have a performance sharing match (bonus, on top of regular match) for when the company did well financially.
