Pros
It's a big firm with lots of different types of opportunities - but taking advantage of those may involve relocation. Focus is mostly on hardware (e.g., building radios, refurbishing vehicles) rather than software (developing or integrating applications).
Cons
Middle and upper management do not understand that managing software development and contracts is different than hardware. Increasing pressure to cut overhead lead to significant outflow of technical capabilities and knowledge.
