      Pros

      There are a lot of talented people working at bae and great opportunities to learn and to network with governement agencies.

      Cons

      The executive management does not have a clue on how to run the business. They are ruining the company much like the governement is rining our country. BAE views it employees as cost rather then assets ad now that they have been laying people off for more then three years now, if they did win a proposal, they can't support it.

      Pros

      The benefits are great...you get a ton of time off and a great 401k and pension plan

      Cons

      Total lack of career mobility. You are easily pigeonholed. The management does not seem to want to place you to your proper fit due to a 6 month commitment rule per project. You are kind of treated as a consultant and a needle in the haystack of employees. You are just a number that nobody cares about. Networking is key to career mobility here.

      Pros

      Work/life balance is very good, and compensation is relatively good for its sector. Product quality is well-known and respected by customers. Communication is open and free. Senior management is impressive. A good amount of attention is paid to employee satisfaction.

      Cons

      Professional development is limited - you are forced to take on management roles to advance. Appreciable stock and bonus benefits are reserved for higher salary grades. Competence among mid-level managers is lacking. Frequent feast/famine/crunch periods are due mostly to lack of proper planning.
