Pros

BASF is stable and reputable. The company is vitally concerned about the safety of their workers and the impact they have on the local communities around their plants. The pay and benefits are good.

Cons

The company is so huge that initiatives are sometimes created without any follow through or accountability for their implementation.

Pros

Great work environment where you are expected to run your own business unit growing sales and managing expenses. Well respected in the agriculture industry and all customers know at least some of the products before you walk in the door.

Cons

Territories kept getting larger with technology transfer and managing work and attending family school functions and games was sometimes difficult
