Pros

The stability of a 150 year old company is like nothing else, however with 150 years come slow painful processes to move within the organization.

Cons

Slow progression in the company to climb to higher levels. The culture is very systematic and hierarchy are deep in BASF roots.

Pros

The people at BASF are good to work with and the management team is very supportive and aware of safety.

Cons

The benefits at BASF lack to entice new employees to the company. When the plant was built in the year 2000, we had a lot of good benefits. Unfortunately, over the years most of the benefits have been discontinued and are no longer available.
