Pros

You can perform with endorsement from the high level management if you are trusted by them. Sometimes, there are various opportunities among the region, but cross country assignment in entry/middle level is still rare, unless you are endorsed.

Cons

In local country as Taiwan structured inside so-called "Greater China Region" (actually, Taiwan has never been part of China (PRC)), talents here are not easily exposed to the top management resulting in some of working level and middle management level are usually considerred in lowe job grade/band than other region/country's peers.
