Pros

The coworkers in the Superabsorbent Polymers group were wonderful people. They were helpful, friendly, and sincere. Almost everyone I met from my peers to upper managers was someone I would happily spend time with outside of work as well as at work, which made it feel very familial. Safety was a huge priority.

Cons

The company loses track of the temps and seems to forget you might want a permanent job. There is not a clear designated pathway for temp-to-hire here. Also, the job is a dead-end for your career. It's perfect for anyone looking for job security and a nice place to work, but not good if you hope to move upward.

Pros

World class company that looks great on a resume. This company looks out for employees. Plenty of training opportunities and my mangers were always encouraging and fun. I was able to receive full reimbursement for my masters in business, WITHOUT at contract to work for BASF after graduation! Plus the best 401k in the business. They just give you 5% then match another 5%. THAT IS CRAZY! All employees start with 3 weeks vacation plus 12 holidays and unlimited sick days.

Cons

I hear that not all the business units are as fun to work with as my unit. Bureaucracy is pretty terrible.
