There are some good things about BASIS ed, especially for young teachers. They do focus on "teaching how to teach" and support new faculty with a lot of training and feedback. If you are OK drinking their cultural Kool-Aid, it isn't a bad place to get started,

Cons

Very little support for special needs students. Make sure to negotiate pay - they low-ball. Owners used to care about education, but increasingly seems more about the money. Aggressively anti-union. While schools are good at discouraging "mean girl" culture and bullying among students, they often support it among faculty/staff.
