Pros

Basic pay is amazing, starting as a young developer or designer will do you well - benefits are great and the facilities are amazing. Unlimited resources to help design and develop - although most is outsourced to 3rd parties Large companies mean big teams and lots of support - there’s always an expert on a subject somewhere. The company is really changing now - and becoming more of a technology and nicotine company ... they might not be doing it correctly but at least they have noticed the need to change and bring in a new perspective. It’s really no longer about making cheap additive products, of course they want to make money but it’s moved on so much into making pleasurable products that have thought and attention in them.

Cons

Anything said by senior managers goes - people bend over backwards to please them or prove a concept to them - it’s nonsense. Designs and developments should be driven by consumers and the designers themselves, not a senior manager who has no experience in design or engineering, only project management. The technology they seem to use they think is “modern” and “cutting edge” but actually it’s a few years behind, they act like they’ve invented the wheel but are miles behind start-ups. And as with big business they have to push a product out every year
