Pros

BB&T is one of the best banking institutions to work for. The company is committed to being known as the "Best Bank in Town"

Cons

The pay is not as great as you could find with other companies. Also the fact that they are only located on the East Coast make relocation difficult

Pros

Excellent medical benefits (subsidies for employees enrolled in wellness program) Very enjoyable work atmosphere Pension and 401K Plan with excellent match Flexible work schedule Really good work/life balance

Cons

Low base pay compared to peer banks (arguably offset by other benefits) Outdated IT systems There is not much lateral mobility inside the bank (i.e. retail to commercial)
