Pros

The bathrooms are pretty clean.

Cons

No advancement. Raises aren't even enough to keep up with inflation.

Pros

Really just the basics of a company car

Cons

Toxic work environment. Leadership is not transparent and lies directly to you. It’s an old fashioned “boys club”. The pay and commission gets worse and worse every year.

Pros

Pay, Holiday pay, and Vacation time

Cons

*I want it on the record this was my experience working the night shift which seems to be horribly neglected in comparison to the day crew* -A work schedule that is extremely demanding and challenging for the body long term. - A toxic work culture very over the top about holding people accountable for the most obscure issues. Praising ‘quality over quantity’ but management who push for anything but. The end result of this is daily arguments between grown adults over the silliest of issues. -Bone head management who know little to nothing about the job you do. - Horrific training process. The training is supposed to take 1 month before you’re signed off and receive a bump to your pay. Good luck with this however as they will not give you the tools you need to be prepared to pass various assessments and you will have to constantly be on their backs just to get assessed. It took me 3 months. My first assessment wasn’t until almost 2 months in. Despite them not wanting to pay you sign off pay, they will 100% treat you like you are signed off. Running the line by yourself and training new hires (all not allowed). -The outcome of your work experience is heavily based on what machine they put you on. But if they put you on an older line, I pray for your mental health. Constantly breaking. Constant quality defects. Your life is running laps for 12 hours trying micromanage a million different moving parts all by yourself. In addition to this good luck getting moved around and learning different lines, they won’t. No matter how much you beg. You will deal with the same ridiculous issues nobody can fix every single day, until the day you leave that place. - Every line has rail operators who manage the packaging and stacking part of the process. As an additional result of poor training practices. You can expect this will become your responsibility most of time. -There are only two ways out of this circus. You can either walk out, or get walked out when the inevitable day comes where they get bored of you and fire you. In the short time I worked here it became very clear don’t get used to anyone because one day they’ll disappear and you will never see them again. -Plan on reaching out to HR? It is your best interest if you simply don’t :)
