Excellent working conditions and, despite some heavy processes, a very good company in the medical industry
Pros
- Excellent working conditions (work-life balance, salary, vacation time, benefits). - Amazing colleagues. - A multitude of initiatives: professional, social, and cultural. - Meaningful work topics (health). - A genuine commitment to employee development, with a comprehensive training program, dedicated time for career reflection, and highly valued internal mobility. - A great deal of support and a very healthy work environment (in my department, at least). - A site (Pont-de-Claix) that blends office and factory space.
Cons
- The size of the group, while providing the firepower and agility that BD enjoys, inevitably leads to significant bureaucracy, lengthy and complex processes, and sometimes outdated tools. - The observation that, although we work for the noble cause of healthcare, our company is primarily private and capitalist, driven by costs, production volumes, profit, and growth, can lead to a certain loss of purpose. - The processes inherited from the company's years of existence are sometimes more than obsolete and burdensome. An update would be highly beneficial to the company and would allow the teams to work more efficiently and less tediously on a daily basis (I'm referring to the case of Pont-de-Claix).
