Pros
I had a great experience working at this company, especially with the in-person teams who were both nice and fun to work with. The job provided a wealth of valuable information about medical devices and their potential failure points, which has been incredibly educational. Additionally, I developed crucial people skills, particularly in writing emails and communicating effectively with healthcare professionals. Overall, it was a rewarding and enriching learning environment.
Cons
My experience with this company took a downturn when I transitioned to remote work, which led to substantial social isolation and inefficiencies. The new management did not take my background into account and eventually demoted me to a Customer Service Representative, where I primarily answered phones and emails. Over time, nearly everyone on the team either quit or were laid off, except for the team leads and managers. Ultimately, those who left were replaced by individuals earning minimum wage, lacking the professional pedigree that was previously valued.
