      Toxic culture drives out competent employees

      Pros

      There really aren't any. Incredibly toxic culture all the way down. BD used to be a great and supportive place to work but that is no more.

      Cons

      Very toxic culture. Management all the way down is either abusive or or flat out incompetent. We are told to essentially ignore our own code of conduct policies and ethics to the point where all qualified and competent performers have been run off by tyrant middle managers who can essentially do whatever they want or being saddled with the work of 3 people. You will not be valued here. The morale is at bottom and everyone is looking to leave the sinking ship.

      - flexible schedule and work from home policy - salary is on the higher end for industry - excellent benefits

      Cons

      - MASSIVE set of layoffs underway, beware! Larger than normal. - Regular restructures every 2-3 years, layoffs are normal - Horrible management - You cannot go to HR for any type of help or issue or your basically targeted

      Potential Outside Sales PI Employees : Read This First

      If you negotiate to come in as a Senior sales rep, the pay is decent. *** please note it is very VERY difficult to get this coming in and even after paperwork is signed, you'll have to double check it was inputted in the system correctly. (Spoiler alert, it usually is NOT)

      Cons

      -internal systems are broken (ex. it takes a week or longer to get a capital quote to a customer) -micromanagement is rampant with excessive paperwork because management doesn't know how to use the tools at their disposal -mediocre/subpar products that are regularly on backorder and mostly overpriced -favoritism and caddy behaviors amongst teams and management = bad culture -retaliation/managed out of outspoken/knowledgeable reps
