      Need more training!

      Pros

      I think it's a good place to start off. It provides a good basis for your resume.

      Cons

      I've been here a few months, and I feel like my training has been lacking thus far. For example. my first few days here were spent by myself at my own computer "learning" from videos. I would have preferred a live class with other new employees. They promise that there will be more formal training in January, but so far most of the training has been absent. We are in the middle of tax season in August, and Im really learning blind. I don't think it's very efficient, and I'm eating my time.

      Pros

      There are a lot of good CPE classes and relevant assurance comments. In addition, you learn a lot on the job. There are a few really good partners to work for. Also, they have a good 401k plan.

      Cons

      Management expects a lot of employees and there is apparent favortism. There is no work life fit as they advertise. Also, there is no women's initiative- even though they claim that they have a program. In fact, they discriminate towards women in general- especially women who are married with children. There is no diversity within management. Also, there were a number of older partners who were forced into retirement.

      Pros

      Good Internship Friendly people for the most part Interns are paid well! Company was very fair and comprehensive in the onboarding process and initial training sessions

      Cons

      Too corporate...layers of management impede on progress Provide more structured work flow to the interns....give them more constructive projects and not just "busy work"
