Logistics Coordinator Review

Pros

The people are extremely nice and very friendly. That’s about it

Cons

I sat at my desk and did nothing a good portion of the time I worked there. Asked multiple times for more work, and nothing improved. Job does not require a degree whatsoever. A high school Freshman could do this job in my honest opinion. Training is not something they’re great at

Pros

In my opinion the best things about working here are hands down the people and the location. Everyone in the office is really nice including the team leads (who are essentially your boss) which makes it a much better environment to be in. Also, if you work in the Philly office the location is awesome and in one of the best areas of the city. Being able to work from home every once in a while is also a big plus.

Cons

Although the logistics coordinator position is slowly changing as the company improves it's technology, it is still very much a data entry position. If you're not into a desk job and doing data entry from 9-5 for a 40k salary, this job isn't for you. My other complaint is that the training is simply not good enough. Unfortunately the team leads are very busy and don't seem to have enough time to properly train new hires. The only way to learn is to ask a ton of questions which can be very frustrating and I think they really need to work to improve the training process. I have been here for almost 5 months and there is still a lot that I don't understand.

Hi and thank you for your feedback. Our corporate office is in a fantastic location in downtown Philadelphia! We also pride ourselves on the relationships employees and built within BDP as that is a huge part of our company culture. As for our training program, we are continuously adding to, and improving on, our training and development programs, not only for employees, but to also help our management teams be more effective managers. If there is ever anything an employee is not sure of, we encourage them to either reach out to their supervisor or our Training, Education, and Development (TED) team.
