Pros

This is an entry Level business, okay for a couple years but not if you plan on moving up in the industry

Cons

Salary is very low compared to competitors and raises are hard to come by. When raises are given they just about cover inflation

Pros

Customer service demands @ BDP are high, but that's how they distinguish themselves from their competitors. Interaction with senior managment is positive. The company has been growing steadily with many career opportunities for employees who are talented and motivated.

Cons

BDP is a privately-owned company with family members who work throughout the company. That's the nature of privately-owned companies. But that does not hinder an employee to advance their career. There are plenty of employees who have been with the company for 10+ years who are loyal to BDP and BDP has been loyal to them.

Pros

Decent entry level work for people with no degree, if you have a degree don't even think about working here.

Cons

First and foremost, wow, the turn over is so incredibly high I meet new people everyday even in a recessionary environment! Where to begin...no advancement, very little training, never recognized for hard work, office politics and last but not least, pay is horrible! First of all pay is very low by industry standards and upper management will use every trick in the book not to give you a raise so they can cut operational cost and get their fat bonus. Speaking of bonuses, expect a whopping $150 Christmas bonus...a word to the wise, it can be very tempting but be careful not to spend it in one place. Oh, and one more thing, the workforce is cut so so so thin so be prepared to do the work of 2 people. As a side note, this company is run by very tight knit circle of family and if you're not one of them then good luck advancing.
