Pros

Remote training and remote working, so far so good.

Cons

Too soon to tell but I am getting a vibe of possible major micromanaging.

Thank you for sharing your early impressions. It’s great to hear that the remote training and remote work options have been a positive start for you—flexibility and accessibility are important, and we’re glad they’ve made a good initial impact. At the same time, we understand your concern about the potential for micromanagement. Feeling trusted and empowered is key to job satisfaction, and it’s natural to be cautious if you’re picking up on signs that could point in the opposite direction. A supportive environment should include guidance and collaboration, and your perspective is a valuable reminder of the balance we need to maintain. Thank you for your honesty. We hope your experience continues to be positive, and that we can earn your trust as a place that fosters both autonomy and growth.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. It’s great to hear that you view the CEO’s leadership and vision so positively. Having a leader who provides clarity and a sense of direction can make a real difference in how people feel about the future of the organization. At the same time, we understand how difficult it can be when internal politics overshadow that vision. When employees encounter unnecessary barriers or political dynamics, it can create frustration, distract from meaningful work, and make it harder to collaborate effectively. That kind of environment can take a toll on morale, no matter how strong the leadership at the top may be. Thank you again for your honesty. Feedback like yours helps highlight both the strengths and the areas where we still need to grow—especially when it comes to fostering a culture that supports teamwork, transparency, and trust at every level.

Pros

Benefits, hours, ERGs, community commitment

Cons

Duplicity of leadership, providing one set of instructions, and then using that to hang you out to dry. Assumptions of ill intent on all actions.

Thank you for sharing your experience so candidly. We’re glad to hear that you find value in the benefits, work-life balance, ERGs, and the organization’s commitment to the community. These are important foundations, and it’s good to know they’re making a difference for you. At the same time, we hear how difficult and disheartening it can be when leadership actions feel contradictory—when guidance is given but may be misunderstood, or when there’s an assumption of ill intent rather than a presumption of goodwill. That kind of environment creates unnecessary stress, undermines trust, and makes it hard for people to do their best work or feel secure in their roles. Your advice is powerful: calling out past mismanagement only matters if there’s a real effort to learn from it, not repeat it. Consistency, fairness, and transparent communication from leadership are crucial to moving forward in a way that honors both employees and the mission. Thank you again for your honest feedback. It’s critical for helping us reflect on how we can continue to lead better, support better, and create a healthier workplace.
