      I LOVE BECU!

      Pros

      BECU really cares about us as employees, just as we know that we all care about our members. Great benefits, flexible hours and involved leadership combine to make a very positive working environment. Opportunities and events are held for staff socializing and good times. BECU also donates time, money and effort to the community in many ways.

      Cons

      Travel to the main locations - Tukwila, Everett, Kent - can be a pain. I have not experienced this in person but have been told that the member service reps in the branches do not see a lot of areas of advancement.

      Amazing Company Culture

      Pros

      BECU has the most extraordinary culture of any place I've ever worked. They truly live the values and listen (and take action on!) employee feedback. People are smart, talented and always respectful. The senior leadership team walks the talk and truly cares about each and every employee. I didn't know anything about BECU or the industry when the recruiter contacted me...and I'm so glad I had that first conversation!

      Cons

      I live in Seattle, so my commute isn't ideal...but it's manageable. It would be nice to have an on-site cafeteria with healthy options. Peach and Avanti are fine, but I miss having access to a salad bar.
