      Pros

      Good work life balance, people don't seem overworked or stressed out.

      Cons

      If you are considering an internship here and hoping to become a full time employee this company may not be for you. Most interns are converted into "temps" making the same hourly rate as an intern with no benefits and a promise of someday, maybe, getting a full time offer. Most temps stay around for a year or so before getting this full time offer.

      Pros

      BECU was an awesome place to work. My switch from full time to part time was seamless and my manager and lead totally worked around my school schedule. Although I had 3 different managers during my 3 years at BECU, each one was very skilled and knowledgeable. My coworkers were the best people to work with and BECU's values were represented in every person I met who worked for them. I would have loved to kept working here all through school, but I transferred to another school out of the city.

      Cons

      The job is not a total cakewalk. You have to learn to use probably 5 or 6 programs to do most of your daily transactions, but luckily they have training that you go through to help.

      Pros

      Great training and understanding of entire banking industry. Assisting members with managing their finances was very enjoyable. Opportunity to learn from different departments helped me become more successful with upselling products.

      Cons

      Some opportunity with teamwork and partnership among other work groups within the call center. Providing positive feedback and suggestions on how we could work together helped.
