      Pros

      BECU offers a robust benefits package. Benefits include paid holidays, generous paid time off and annual incentive programs, 401k, Orca card transit pass, gift matching, 12hrs paid to volunteer, medical/dental, Be Well Program that reimburses funds spent to support health and well being, etc. I love that they're involved in my community and support so many local events and organizations.

      Cons

      Their headquarters are located in Tukwila. Pro to this is that they allow you to work from home when possible.

      Supportive management. They empower you to do your best and make the right decisions. Great work life balance.

      Cons

      Spinning wheels on projects, removing obstacles can be challenging. Everyone knows this is an issue.

      Pros

      There is good health insurance and good benefits in general, which is a major plus. It's nice not working on Sunday's and getting paid to volunteer.

      Cons

      Management is generally incompetent, play's favoritism, and works employees to the point of exhaustion. Work life balance is something most hourly employees may get... although some hourly employees work overtime and don't get paid. Most departments work constantly. Inefficiency is also common. It takes a long time to get anything done. Gossip is also the norm. Don't expect to get promoted without playing politics.
