low commission, unlike other lenders who pay a percentage of the amount the loan you close, BECU pays a flat bonus on mortgages and it max is only $750 (if you do 5 or more purchases) for a purchase and $425 for a refi (you have to get 10 refis to get that amount other wise its like half that). too much red tape, no flexibility, and the amount of people you have to go through to get a issue resolved is ridiculous (that goes for internal and external)
